A native Texan, Jennifer Salinas was born and raised in San Antonio. With a passion for design, she enrolled in a computer graphic design program and became a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word.
After graduating from the University with a BFA in Computer Graphic Design, Jennifer worked as a freelance designer, an experience that has given her a chance to work on a variety of design projects and expand her portfolio. She went on to work for the Texas based H-E-B grocery company and the nationally known check company Harland Clarke Holdings.
At H-E-B’s digital marketing dept. and accounting/finance dept., Jennifer gained experience in email and website design to social media designs and graphics for programs/posters for H-E-B’s annual finance/accounting meeting, along with other various graphics for H-E-B’s website, and E-Training and logo designs. With Harland Clarke she has worked on graphics for financial institutions and small businesses nation wide, as well as assisting with web updates for Harland Clarkes websites and content management for the internal dept. website.
Coupled with a diverse portfolio, Jennifer has a unique blend of design skills and interactive understanding. Her passion for design doesn’t stop at work, she continues to be a free-lance designer, giving small developing businesses a head start by providing marketing, website, branding, and customer experience needs. When she’s not designing she likes to spend time with family & friends and her husband and their cat April.
